I've built more Flash sites than I can recall...This is a small sampling.

    ABSA ETFs

A relatively adventurous site for ABSA, who wanted to peddle some or other dodgy financial instrument.

    ABSA ETFs

This was loads of fun to build. It's a website that explains one of ABSA's financial instruments to users through a bunch of fireflies that fly around the screen and form various clusters, patterns, colours, etc. to visually depict the underlying concepts of ETFs. Just don't pay any attention to the man behind the curtain...

    Suburban.tv
    evolving website

Okay, so here's how this ambitious site worked: users answered a set of questions about themselves, ranging from simple 'what's your favourite colour' type questions right through to difficult ethical dilemmas. Answers were stored and averaged out and I used all this data - as well as stuff like date, time, location, etc. - to algorithmically generate an unique, ever-mutating environment for each user. Over time, trees grew little branches, things slowly morphed in shape and colour and little creatures flitted around growing arms and legs and stuff. Madness!

    Clearwater

A site I coded for Clearwater a couple of years back. You could pan infinitely around their offices and various shapes, panels, objects, etc. could be flagged as interactive and used to trigger custom news content, videos and so forth.

    Swartskaap

Swartskaap ('Black Sheep') - a local film. This is a still from the set that I heavily manipulated. Little sheep come out and dance occasionally and there's lots of subtle animation like the guy in the bed breathing, the bird outside the window pecking, etc. Also, perhaps the world's first 100% wool-based navigation system.

    Nedbank Fresh Start

I made an online gambling game for a bank. A minor ethical lapse. I also made a nice little backend for it where the admin could upload new text, graphics and video and tweak parameters.

    Earth2

I used to own a restaurant. This was its website.

    Umlando Wezithombe

Umlando Wezithombe publishes comics, mostly educational stuff. Their site is quite animated - steam rising from the coffee cup, the hand writes all the copy and 'draws' the pictures, etc. There are even random insects drifting across the page from time to time.

    Cookie Films

The Cookie Films website - a quick site for a local production company.

    Flowerbomb Light

Flowerbomb Light - an annoying site I built for a production company. It's 100% flash and everything animates all over the place - a little bit much actually. I like the subtly animated backgrounds though.

    Asqus

I make music. Here's my suitably electronica website. It's been up since 2002 and I simply haven't the heart to replace it. I just update the flash version and stylesheets now and then...

    Grow Consulting

A simple Flash site I built for a consultancy. The spinning and zooming circular navigation was quite fun to code though.

    Meeting Minders

Meeting Minders - a pack of cards to help with brainstorms and workshops and stuff. The site emulated the use of the physical cards - you could draw cards from a virtual box and so forth.

    G-Lab

A website for a slightly mysterious company that had offices downstairs to my old company. I was never a fan of their dicey logo...
